Today we celebrated this colourful Spring with a colourful matcha pancake plate and of course a must-to-have cup of green tea (Fukamushi Sencha
? 深蒸し煎茶).
We love to bake pancakes with Japanese pancake powder mix from Morinaga.
The tea is deeply steamed Fukamushi-cha from Chiran, Kagoshima. Kagoshima prefecture has the second biggest tea production in Japan and Chiran is famous for its aromatic Fukamushi tea in the region. Feel free to order a pack and have a pleasant aromatic tea time at home or give it away as a gift:)
